The Victoria Cross
1916. USA. Directed by William C. DeMille. With Lou Tellegen, Cleo Ridgely. Hayakawa portrays a rebel leader in India at the time of the 1857 Sepoy Uprising. Atypical of his tenure with Jesse L. Lasky's Feature Play Company, Hayakawa plays a supporting part in this film. As with most of Hayakawa's non-Japanese parts, Lasky released the film in Japan. Silent. Approx. 65 min.
